相位值在健康成年人脑铁含量与年龄的相关性

摘要:
[摘要]目的 采用3.0T磁敏感加权成像定量测量健康成年人额叶白质区及灰质核团的相位值,探讨额叶白质区及灰质核团与年龄的相关性.方法 收集年龄20~85岁的157例健康成年人进行MRI常规及SWI扫描,按其年龄段分为6组.A组:20~29岁,B组:30~39岁,C组:40~49岁,D组:50~59岁,E组:60~69岁,F组:≥ 70岁.经后处理在相位图像上分别测量左右侧额叶白质区、红核、黑质网状带、黑质致密带、尾状核头、壳核、苍白球和丘脑的相位值,分析相位值与年龄的相关性.结果 健康成年人在红核相位值最低,黑质网状带次之,额叶白质区的相位值最高,尾状核头的相位值在部分年龄段有统计学意义(P<0.05),有一定规律性.余感兴趣区的相位值在不同年龄段间差异无统计学意义(P>0.05),尾状核头的相位值与年龄呈明显正相关(r=0.352,P<0.01),余感兴趣区的相位值与年龄无相关性(P>0.05).结论 SWI能清晰显示脑内核团的结构,准确评估脑内的铁含量和随年龄变化的规律.

The Analysis of the Correlation between Age and Iron Deposition in the Brain of Healthy Adults using Phase Value

Abstract:
[Abstract]Objective To quantitatively analyze the iron deposition in deep brain gray nucleus and frontal white matter in healthy adults and its correlation with age using susceptibility-weighted imaging(SWI) with 3.0 Tesla scanner. Methods 157 healthy subjects(age 20 to 85)were scanned with routine sequences and SWI sequences. The subjects were divided into 6 groups according to their age: Group A (age 20 -29),Group B (age 30 -31),Group C(age 40 - 49),Group D (age 50 - 59),Group E(age 60 - 69)and Group F (age > 70). Phase value was measured in both sides of frontal white matter,red nucleus,substantia nigra pars reticulate,substantia nigra pars compacta,putamen,globus pallidus,head of caudate nucleus and thalamus, and the correlations between the phase value and age was analyzed.Results The phase value of red nucleus was the lowest,followed by substantia nigra reticulate. The highest phase value was found in the frontal white matter. The difference of phase value among some age groups had statistical significance in head of caudate nucleus(P<0.05).Obvious correlations between age and phase value was shown in head of caudate nucleus(r=0.352,P<0.01). Conclusion SWI can clearly display the cerebral nuclei, evaluate the brain iron content accurately and age-related iron concentration changes.
